Pennsylvania and New Jersey:

Organization & Leadership Effectiveness for the Environment (OLEE)

A regional program offering training and consulting support for environmental, conservation, and environmental justice groups in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey (Delaware River, Pinelands, and Barnegat Bay Watersheds).  Assistance is also available to statewide groups in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  OLEE is generously supported by the William Penn Foundation.

Services

OLEE provides:

• workshops at conferences or regional meetings, or
• custom-designed training or facilitation, tailored to help organizations
• the Complete Fundraiser Program.

This customized support is intended to help organizations:

• Diversify and increase their revenue
• Assess organizational needs
• Complete strategic planning
• Build a stronger board
• Develop volunteer leadership
• Work more effectively in coalitions or with partner groups.

Priority given to coalitions or groups working in partnership.

Capacity-Building Assessment of PA and NJ Environmental Organizations

In the Fall of 2004 ICL and the Environmental Support Center conducted an assessment of organizational capacity building needs among environmental and conservation groups in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey. Upcoming Programs and Workshops

The Mid-Atlantic Complete Fundraiser Program begins in March 2007. The Complete Fundraiser is a 12-month program which provides fundraising skills, training, and consulting support to participants and their organizations as they implement new fundraising efforts. Participants learn how to lead their organizations in the often-difficult transition to more systematic fundraising.  The application process for this program has closed.
