Stacy Baker

Stacy Baker, MSEd, Program Associate, manages ICL’s Freshwater Leadership Initiative (Great Lakes and Southeast U.S.) and other grant-funded programs to strengthen leaders and groups protecting the Earth.  An educator by training with years of facilitation experience, Stacy is an instructor for ICL's Vision to Impact and also delivers ICL workshops, distance learning programs, and consulting services.  She has a passion for evaluation and helping nonprofit groups achieve measurable results.   

Stacy brings over 15 years of consulting and field experience in the public health community, where she was recognized as one of the nation’s leading experts on quality improvement in the public health field. Over her career she has written over 20 publications and delivered dozens of quality improvement and performance management training programs, reaching thousands of professionals. She brings field experience organizing outreach programs with diverse communities in the Chicago area and has served on the boards of small nonprofit and all-volunteer groups.

Stacy earned her Master of Science degree in Education and B.A. in Women’s Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.  For fun, she does comedy improv, takes guitar lessons, and is an avid traveler. She lives in Bethesda, MD with her spouse and two beagles.
