Campaign & Project Planning
to Build Your Organization
Does your organization rely on the same small group of leaders for each issue and activity?
Do you use the same approach for each of your campaigns or projects, no matter what the goal?
Do you find that even when you reach your goals, your organization hasn’t grown?
Then please join ICL, the Alabama Rivers Alliance, and the Flint River Conservation Association for a Campaign and Project Planning Workshop in Huntsville, AL on June 23rd. This one-day workshop is designed to help
volunteers, staff, and board members to plan campaigns and projects that achieve their goals and strengthen your organization. It is offered as part of the Institute's Freshwater Leadership Initiative.
The Campaign and Project Planning Workshop provides training in campaign and project planning and execution skills. It also helps you mobilize new volunteers and nurture them into the leaders your organization needs for the future. During the workshop, you’ll:
- Set goals for recruiting new volunteers and developing new leaders;
- Plan the first phases of a campaign or project for your organization, using the ICL Campaign Planning Chart; and
- Develop a calendar for the coming months, with activities for your campaign or project.
You are strongly encouraged to attend with a team of volunteers and leaders from your organization, so that you can make decisions and plan together during the workshop and support one another in implementing your plans after the workshop.
