Yet, these efforts can also feel like they take more work than the benefits achieved. From the initial stage of developing a cooperative effort to strengthening a longtime coalition, this workshop is appropriate for anyone working in cooperative efforts and settings. Who Should AttendThis workshop is for anyone leading or participating in an ongoing or newly forming multi-organizational cooperative effort. The workshop is most effective when you participate with others who are a part of your network, coalition, or partnership. We recommend that you attend as a group to maximize the resources and tools given and to achieve the desired results. Workshop PresentersThe facilitators work regularly with leaders and organizations in networks, coalitions and other cooperative efforts. The workshop uses the Institute's newest publication, "Working Together: A Toolkit for Cooperative Efforts, Networks and Coalitions." Brad Webb, ICL Program Associate, has worked extensively on organizational change and has considerable experience in program development and management of nonprofits. He has worked for numerous educational organizations, including Outward Bound as Director of Professional Development Programs. Brad also manages ICL’s Executive Director Leadership Program. Courtney Carlson, ICL Program Associate, manages several initiatives including Strengthening Ohio Leaders and Organizations (SOLO). She is a member of the team leading the 2008-2009 Complete Fundraiser Program and enjoys leading group sessions on topics related to organizational sustainability and personal leadership development.
