Leading Organizational Change

The Institute for Conservation Leadership invites you to participate in this one-day workshop designed for executive directors and senior staff members who want to be more effective in leading change processes in their organizations.

Is your organization facing a significant change, needing to address a serious challenge, or seeking to move to the next level?  Would you like to strengthen your ability to help lead this change? 

Participants will assess their current capacity and challenges using a systems approach, gain skills and tools to strengthen their own leadership, and develop a plan for leading a change initiative in their organizations. Participating organizations will receive up to four hours of consulting time after the workshop, to be used by February 15, 2009.

ICL strongly recommends that participating organizations send a 2-3 person leadership team.  Each organization will receive up to four hours of coaching or consulting support after the workshop.

Goals:

By the end of this workshop, participants will:

• Assess their current capacity and challenges
• Set priorities for strengthening their organization
• Be more aware aware of different leadership orientations and strength of their leadership team
• Develop a plan for leading a change initiative in their organization
