Fee StructuresContracting ProcessYou’ve identified a need. You know where your organization wants to go. Let’s explore options for flexing ICL’s expertise to help your organization reach its highest potential. Step 1: Complete the Online Contact Us form or call Peter Lane at 301-270-2900 ext. 5. Step 2: Discuss the details of your situation and your desired outcomes. What will success look like after ICL’s assistance? Step 3: We will match your organization with an ICL staff person or consultant in our national network who has the expertise and background to help you achieve success. That person will be selected based on the type of work requested, the type of organization, and the location. Step 4: ICL will schedule a conference call between you, ICL’s contract manager, and the staff person or consultant best suited to assist you. This call is an opportunity for you and the consultant to learn more about each other, the nature of the work, and to discuss a possible scope of work. You also have the option of requesting a different ICL staff person or consultant. Step 5: Once the outcomes, a scope of work that outlines the major consultant activities and timeline, and a budget are agreed to, we will send you a contract between your organization and ICL. Step 6: You and/or your board must approve the contract. Upon approval, ICL will work with you on all ongoing needs and provide high quality service tailored to your organization’s needs. Step 7: After completion of your project, ICL will work with you to capture lessons, evaluate your experience and assess progress. Please note that ICL generally requests a minimum of 6-8 weeks advance notice to ensure sufficient time for scheduling and, most importantly, to allow adequate time for planning and design. |
