The Less Visible Leader



Are network leadership skills different from those needed to direct a nonprofit organization or a small business?

ICL’s Newest article, “The Less Visible Leader: Emerging Leadership Models for Environmental Networks, Coalitions and Collaboratives,” finds that some behaviors are the same (and may be even more important in a coalition setting) while others are unique. This article incorporates the same both/and thinking, while emphasizing the special capabilities and attitudes that set network leaders apart and can make their collaborative work more successful.
