Supervisor Andres Jimenez, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, Mason District

Andres Jimenez, the proud son of Colombian immigrants, grew up in West Virginia and has lived in Mason District with his wife, Shanna, for more than a decade. Today, as the first Latino and immigrant Supervisor for Mason District, he is dedicated to building a more inclusive, sustainable, and opportunity-rich Fairfax County.

With experience on Capitol Hill, in New York City government, and in leadership roles at major environmental organizations including Green 2.0, Andres has spent his career fighting for equity, environmental justice, and community empowerment. On the Board of Supervisors, he works to support working families, expand opportunity, and protect our shared future.

Dianne Russell, President of the Institute for Conservation Leadership

Dianne brings over 40 years of experience of leading a nonprofit and working with thousands of groups and agencies who work on environmental and community-based issues. She has played the role of process designer, meeting facilitator, coach, backbone staff, evaluator, and foundation advisor with over 45 collaborative efforts across the U.S. and Canada.

Dianne is a proud Marylander and lives in Prince Georges County with her wife/sweetie and a rambunctious standard poodle. Questions about baseball, gardening, social change theories, photography, LGBTQ issues, or her home state of Ohio will spark very enthusiastic discussions with her.
